Mallory's Baptism

A coming of age. A symbol of commitment. A promise of discipleship. How can my baby be eight? What a love and what a joy she is. With a radiance in her eyes and a smile that is like sunshine, she charges the world, demanding to be seen, loved and adored. And if adoration is not forthcoming, she pokes, and prods and teases until the wall crumbles and she is there--arms outstretched--needing, wanting, hoping.

After Party

Friends, family and food. Life doesn't get better than this! We celebrate Mallory, and ceremoniously sanctify the ordinance with laughter and love.

Lake Tahoe

A blissful family vacation at Lake Tahoe. Tranquil, blue lake encircled with massive evergreens and dotted with smooth, round boulders. Brilliant snow-capped mountains extend with grandeur along the horizon.

The highlight of the trip for Weston and Trevor is snowboarding at Alpine Meadows for the day. Trev is a newbie, but is blasting airs and racing down the slopes by the end of the day. Both are convinced that this activity must become a regular seasonal occurrence in the Joyce family. We concede to bring them back next winter, and who knows, perhaps you'll even see me out there on a pair of skis!
